This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to conduct commissioning and post-commissioning activities.

It includes planning and managing commissioning and post-commissioning activities associated with asset construction. It also includes applying and adhering to relevant legislation, industry regulatory and workplace procedures.

This unit applies to those working as construction leaders with responsibility for the commissioning of new assets and management of post-commissioning activities. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously, with leadership responsibilities, while performing complex tasks in a range of familiar contexts.
